Sri. Harpreet Singh, a retired IAS officer from the Telangana cadre, boasts a distinguished academic background, having graduated from IIT Mumbai and IIM Kolkata. With over six years of industry experience, he embarked on a successful civil services career in 1991, retiring in 2022.
As the Director General at Gyan Khand, a unit of Guru Nanak Mission Trust, he holds the rare distinction of clearing the IIT, IIM, and Civil Services Exams. His tenure as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of IT in undivided Andhra Pradesh saw him instrumental in positioning Hyderabad as a prominent IT destination, attracting major tech giants like Microsoft and Oracle.
In 2008, serving as Secretary of the Public Service Commission in Andhra Pradesh, he pioneered the automation and digitization of application processes, setting a benchmark for other states to follow.
In 2014-15, as the first Secretary of IT in Telangana, he spearheaded the establishment of T-Hub, India’s largest incubation center, fostering an ecosystem of innovation.
Currently, Sri. Harpreet Singh guides Gyan Khand towards excellence in Cybersecurity, leveraging his visionary leadership and extensive experience.
Sri. Ranbir Singh Gandhi, Secretary of Guru Nanak Mission Trust, is a highly motivated and dedicated advocate for Gyan Khand. Holding a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from CBIT, Hyderabad, he brings a strong educational background to his role. With his leadership, Gyan Khand has flourished as an educational initiative.
Beyond his commitment to education, Sri Gandhi is also a respected industrialist, renowned for his astute business acumen. Over the past 15 years, he has successfully managed a thriving furniture business, establishing it as a household name in Hyderabad. His multifaceted expertise and unwavering dedication make him an invaluable asset to both the trust and the business community.
